Very detailed report and I can imagine the physical suffering & the mental torture of it for 10 long hours. Cinya salute you guys!

Dear Jamie,
i hope you dont mind me putting this kinda advert here...I'm looking for possible travel marathon partners to the Gold Coast Marathon scheduled on 6th July 2008 (preferably male and hetrosexuals pls!). Taking advantage of the Air Asia cheap flight -at last check RM1300 (return)- plus hostel accomodation 5 nights @ AUD25 per nite...we will be able to experience a world class marathon down under during winter for about RM2000 (excluding race fees of course)Open to suggestions on sharing cost of car rentals etc. I am very familiar with Surfers Paradise/Gold Coast, and have been there 4 times in the past 7 years. Anyone interested can contact me at 012-2057858. My name is RIZAL (Pacesetter member no: 3874)

Well done! You've improved so much so that you'd be proud of yourself. It has never been easy in brisk walking.
