Carboman, got this idea from reading the Saucony site. Why dont you start a column called "Every Runner Has A Story". Get runners to contribute their running experience, their reason to run, their accomplishment of finishing the race which is dedicated to someone that means a lot to them, etc. This I believe can be a catalyst to enlighten and drive more people in taking up running. A good way to start promoting and will be interesting to read everyone story. I can write my story for a start if you are interested to pick it up. Just my 2cts.

finally, the penang Bridge run is on! Missed that last year, and the year before that also! Hope they won't do the Houdini act again!
