Notebook Kaput
After only 1.5 years, my Dell notebook gave up on me. The OS refused to bootup (even in safe mode) due to hard disk failure. I believe I've been targeted by the PC Fair Troll. I'm seriously considering a Macbook. Only the price is stopping me from running out to get it. With a Mac I don't have to worry so much about patches and will have most, if not all, of my most frequently used applications. How? How?! Grrrrr!

So kesian! From my past experience, Dell products are "designed" to last until the 1 year warranty period. My company projector went kaput after 1 year, now I am backing up all data in my Dell notebook as it is approaching 1 year. Sigh....

My DELL is 3 years old and going strong. Another thing is buy extended warranty. So far no problems at all with the laptop, never hangs etc. Only slowing down as I have more stuff on it.. mainly caused by Norton Security and AV 2006

Once you go Mac, you neva go back...!!
I'm a proud owner of a black Macbook 2.0Ghz laptop! I hardly had any problems that is associated with the pathetic Windows OS!! It's great, been using it for almost a year, and the features are just awesome... visual friendly, and user friendly!
If you'd like to arrange a test drive, please do not hesitate to call my numbaaaa...
Ahahha.. I sound like a Mac salesman! But I might as well be one!!
I'm sold on Mac..!!

Man..your notebook reminded me of my dell desktop. It went kaput after 1 yr too. Apparently something happened to the motherboard and it refused to boot. That is the reason why i got my Acer notebook. So far, so good. Nothing crappy happened.
